My very FIRST sewing project!

Ava needed a nap sack for Mother's Day Out. I went to Target,Wal-Mart,Academy,and even H.E.B to purchase one and no one had any left from back to school.

I decided to get on my handy dandy Internet and find one! Well I ended up finding a site where the girl had made hers and offered information on supplies needed and directions! WOO HOO!!

Printed them out and off I went to Hobby Lobby to get my supplies for the nap sack!
My friend Chrissy has a sewing machine that she wants to sell, Dean said if I would learn to sew we could buy it.
Over to her home I went with my supplies and she spent an entire day helping me make Ava's precious little napper!

Good thing I was not getting graded on this piece of work!! I think a blind person can sew straighter than I can!
Needless to say it turned out adorable and best of all Ava is crazy about her new napper!
