Papaw Brock sent Ava a flower,balloon and little pony arrangement for her birthday!
Ava's face lit up so big when she opened the front door and the delivery lady said it was for AVA!!!
We have come to a huge milestone in baby Ava Leigh's little life!
TWENTY FOUR MONTHS ago.... I had no idea how God was going to truly bless our lives with the life changing whirlwind of love for our healthy,happy,sweet,loving baby girl! WOW it has been a mind blowing wonderful road that I want to continue to travel!
Ava has been nothing but pure joy and entertainment for Dean and I! I believe that because of Ava and other wonderful people in our lives our relationship with the Lord continues to grow stronger and stronger everyday! I could not imagine our lives without God as the center of our family and focus!
Ava is so full of life,expression and excitement! There is very few things she doesn't like to do or enjoy doing!She is defiantly a people person! Loves to talk talk talk and be talked to! She has a lot on her mind and wants to tell you every bit of it!
Ava is very much into make believe now whether it is babies,cashier,cook,or school she loves to play pretend! Still enjoys animals big and small,outside, her books,friends and bubble baths! Eating has started to become a slight challenge! She eats good just very little to nothing...
Mothers Day Out has been very successful thus far! Ava can't wait for her school days (Tues/Thurs),and every time we pass her school she announces it with delight!" MY SKOOL MY SKOOL"
I won't fib Ava has a feisty streak (STEVENS) LOL! She can defiantly hold her own,and is very determined to figure something out! I finally got it through her head that it is ok to ask for help,but I refuse to do things for her when she is capable! Now when she needs help she states it very loudly!! ,"MOMMA I NEED ELP"!! Good or bad I'm not too sure yet, I have rubbed of my obsessive compulsive cleaning habits to her! I find her cleaning the tile with a dish towel,putting all toys back in there "home" and needing a wipe for every spill of drip! The problem being if she is coloring or making a craft and she makes a mistake or does not like the way it looks she FLIPS OUT!!!! OH BOY! I do hope that "we" will over come this.
At Ava's last check-up (2wks ago) she weighed 27lb even and was 36inches tall what a change from the tiny 7lb 15oz 19.5inc baby I delivered 24months ago!
Ava, Momma and Daddy are so thankful for you! You have been a true blessing in our lives! I enjoy every moment with you and look forward to many more!
