A Monumental moment in a Christians Life! Dean's Baptism 05-30-09
Saturday May 30th 2009
What a beautiful day,in so many respects!
Dean,Ava and I have been attending New Hope Church as a family for almost two years now. Our relationship with the Lord and with each other has grown by leaps and bounds! Dean decided on his own that he was ready and wanted to publicly profess Christ as his Lord and Savior! Tonight after our regular church service Dean was Baptised! What a wonderful decision it was! I'm so proud of him!
Neither Dean nor I was raised in church but it is so awesome to me that we both have the desire to know Jesus and let him be known! Thank-you Lord for bringing two lost souls together that not only have a drive to love and respect each other but the drive to know ,love and will to live by your guidence!
Thank-you to everyone that was able to be a part of this beautiful day! Y'all mean so much to us!
What a great Memorial Weekend!
Dean's weekend started on Thursday he went Fishing Thursday,Friday, and Saturday! Loved every bit of it! Of course he limited out on his share of fish!!(we will never starve!!)
Ava and I went out to Tomball on Saturday for one of my very good friends daughters second birthday! Needless to say Ava had a blast! Big swing set,bubbles,sand box,chalk board and toddler sized cars! Top that off with some cake and ice cream and you have one happy excited baby!!
Home in time for a bath and Church!
Sunday we got up around 5ish and was out the door by 6 to head out to God's country!
We went to Gonzales for the rest of the weekend!What fun it was!
Four wheeling,playing in the sand,swinging swinging,swinging,riding on the tractor with Grandpa,feeding the donkey,bible study at the church,homemade ice cream,relaxing on the AMAZING porch! We had a great time!
