Finger Licking Good!

A Day at the Park.
The experience's you share with your family and friends help shape you into the people we become. This is something that I truly believe and learn to be so true day after day. That being said I want Ava to experience life as we know it and what you can show her!
Something as simple as going to the park and watching her little legs try to keep up with the next task she goes after full speed ahead and seeing how happy it makes her to get to run around and try new things!
Dean has been home a lot more lately than normal and has really got to have a lot of time with Ava. (I sit back and smile) to see the interaction of Father and Daughter. It is beautiful to watch her eyes light up and that big toothy smile take over her face! The endless giggles tickle my heart! She is so crazy about him! How could she not be! He is an amazing Father!
We have had some really great weekends together just being a family.
I'm really into the simple things!
Check out that smile on Ava's face in the swing picture it's priceless!

Once Ava started crawling my restroom time was no longer a personal one. Community bathroom took on a whole new meaning. Not only was I joined by my big blue eyed baby girl but with her along came my four legged other baby Molli. I have become completly accustomed and o.k. to this time together as a family bathroom experience.
This brings me to my new milestone with Ava. Since we are always together restroom and all I decited to buy her a little toilet(really cute & pink ) to rest on while we are in the bathroom together. Ava has some few and infrequent signs of intrest but I thought it can't be too bad of idea to let her start associating what the toilet is all about.
Last night before her bath I set her on her potty with no diaper on and asked her "do you need to potty?" On cue she did ...on her potty. Yea how exciting! So yes we ran through the house to tell Daddy!
This morning I thought why not give it a shot again . She just sat there with the excitement of being on the potty with no diaper. No present in the potty though.
Don't get me wrong the thought of saving $40.00 a month on diapers is a nice thought but I'm really not wanting to rush this . I have just read that if your child shows some signs of intrest try it out so here we are.
Ear Infections....
PostedMy poor baby girl started to run a low grade fever and tugging at her right ear Wednesday night.....uuugg. After experiencing 6 ear infections in the very recent months I dreaded what this meant.
Her Dr.would like for us to consider having tubes in her ears.
After hanging out at the very over crowded Dr.'s office on a Saturday the conclusion is what I thought...
Ava did have a double ear infections again and is back on antibiotics again! When we got home around 2ish Ava slept until 8 that night. My poor baby. I'm glad she finally got some rest, she did not the night before.
It's amazing to me how before I had Ava I required many hours of sleep and now for my daughter it seems I can go days without rest.
WOW HOW CHILDREN CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!
GONE FISHING
PostedDaddy is starting the fishing year off right. Fulfilling his Passion.
Dean and a couple of friends headed East to Lake Calcasieu, Louisiana to throw out (Shiny top water lures) and see how many fish they could get to EXPLODE! Looks like they didn't do too bad!
