Super Red!! LOL Ava was ready.... Halloween Party at The Rau's ,Church then trick or treating.
Some friends of our (Cata and Shu) have a halloween party every year! This was mine and Ava's first time to attend and boy do they go ALL out! Ava and I got to stay and visit long enough for a wardrobe change then off to Church we went.
Either A) She was hot and over the costume...or B)She is a diva,spotted the goggles and wanted to be a mermaid????
Trick or treating in our Neighborhood! I think Ava liked the idea of going door to door more so than the candy.....see just wanted to see everyone!

Today was Ava's friend Laney's second birthday! Happy Birthday Laney!!!
For her party her Momma thought it would be a fun idea to have a Pancake,Pajama Themed Party! How Fun!!
She had a fun spread of all the fixins for your pancakes and some other yummy sides too!

Seems to be feeling better...or at least acting like it? She got into Deans hunting stuff! LOL
My poor lil love! Her fever broke this morning but she did not have a very comfortable day! Ava couldn't seem to get any rest yet she was so exausted! I tried to give her easy going craft projects to keep her mind off of the irritabilty but as soon as I would try to get her to relax she would scream violently! VERY UN-LIKE HER!

Welcome Home Baby Girl
Well this could be a number of many things......School,Plane,Travel,Lack of proper nutrition on vacation ,lack of normal sleep,The fun Aquarium we went to,Plane again who knows....
We returned home from Canada on Sunday afternoon. Ava had a great time and was great the entire trip! Fortunately she waited till our return home to start the symptoms that have left us clueless....
Monday she did a lot of sleeping,
(I chalked it up to our travels)Monday night was running a low grade fever 102.4 not eating and just acting out of sorts...Tuesday morning still has fever now at 103.5 and still acting very blasia! Headed to the DR. at 11am . The Dr. checked her out and said her throat was red/irritated,spleen was enlarged (meaning infection)ears,nose and eyes were clear! Dr. swabbed her for strep that came back negative soooo what now? The Motrin/Tylenol,tepid baths,pop sickles,and lots of fluids! Her fever will drop to about 102.4 then spike back up to 103.5 when meds start to wear away.
Ava has had both the normal vaccination for the flu and the nasal spray for H1N1 (swine flu).
Please keep Ava in your prayers that this is just a mild viral infection and our baby will be back to her silly self in no time! Thank-you!
TEA PARTY FOR TWO!!!
For Ava's birthday her "NINA" aka TINA got her a real Tea Set!
I have had it put away out of little hands reach. I knew this would be a gift we could only play with when Adult Supervision was available.
Last night Ava started to run a low grade fever,today we went to the DR.....diagnosis sore throat,enlarged spleen and no appetite and not much activity ???
When we came home I figured today would be a good mild day to break out the fine china!LOL I introduced Ava to her tea set and boy did she ever love that!We played Tea Party till her heart's continent! Molli,Daddy and most babies got in on the tea party too!
Thank-you Nina for such a great gift! I for see many tea parties in the future! Hopefully you will join us for a few! Ava makes a mean cup-o tea!
The humor is really starting to prevail
Ava has always been an animated Lil being ,but now that her verbal skills are really shinning her vocal humor often has us cracking up. Before we left for Canada I had started to compile list of all her funny little sayings. I would find myself telling her daily antics to family and friends so I decided I needed to blog them so Ava could read back one day and see how silly and entertaining she was.

SHE definitely uses her PLEASES,THANKYOU'S AND SORRY'S correctly and has started to say YES MAM/NO MAM without direction.
Ava can recognize her name,spell it and has started to write her A's as she writes them she recites up down across.
She can count to 10 but still has difficulty completing her ABC's she gets to G and starts to struggle.
She knows her teachers names and all her friends names too.

Twice a year for Dean's Company we go on mini work..../vacations!
In the spring we went to Miami and for the fall trip we had the opportunity to go up North to Vancouver Canada! This is always so much fun for us! This trip was especially exciting because none of us had been to Vancouver! What a great time of year to go. The foliage was AMAZING!!!The city was super clean, The weather was very tolerable and the people blew our minds with such respect ,kindness and so eager to help!
Ava had a great time and was very well behaved the entire trip!Even though she is real big into UN-dressing right now so we were constantly having to put her socks,shoes and jacket back on her! (That was the worst of it!!)She even handled the 5 hour flight like a trooper! BOTH WAYS!
Dean really only had one full work day while we were there so we had the chance to do A LOT of site seeing! What sites they have to SEE!!
Chad and his Fiance Leah went as well and they were great company! Ava really took to them! We all had a nice time and were not quite ready to return to reality.... ;/
We hope to venture to Vancouver again!
